Observation details

When we arrived at the picnic area, a German ornithologist was taking photos of a Blue Chaffinch male (I saw his photos). As I approached him, the bird had just flown up into the trees, where it was singing. Shortly after, it flew further away – it was a distinct blue bird. I recorded the song, which has been analyzed using the Audacity app. The analysis shows a match with the Blue Chaffinch from Xeno-Canto.
