Media notes

Several dozen Rusty Blackbird in flight and landing on nearby hardwoods. Recorded at 9:03 am

Observation details

At least 36 Rusty Blackbird were foraging in the large marsh basin (the one with the overlook). I saw them well from my vantage point along fred Fletcher Foundation. Then they flew up into hardwoods at 9:03 then headed to the park's large lawns. This is an important wintering site of Rusty Blackbirds.

Additional species

  • American Robin Turdus migratorius
