many thousands of geese lift off ice for AM flight

Observation details

1000 in flight at arrival. Able to count early in-flight Birds. Birds on ice remain too thick to count even with good binoculars. Returned to counting by 10, 100s, then 1000s during launch. medium goose White & blue phase geese. White bird with black wing tips only seen in flight, ruled out pelicans, Canada g. , ducks, swans. Common annual Snow bird migration area. while inflight- formed long leading line outward, not V-formation of Canada G. found on lake with surrounding harvested corn & soy fields. zoom in on photos of water & horizon for in-flight birds. additional birds from W side of phone not seen on photo observed with massive lift-off.
