Observation details

The bird was like a grey and white Guillemot from a distance. It was actively feeding and often diving. From a distance it had white underparts and grey upperparts but as it came closer I could make out the the grey covered from the head to just below the eye, the back of the neck and the back. There were pale edges to the feathers on the back. The face from below the eye, the neck and underparts were white with some greyish markings on the breast.
