Observation details

Rare. Ridge trail. Continuing birds. Exact count but possibly a couple more. Quite active for a period of time. A harrier presented me with the first two, spooking them up. I took care not to double count, as all were separated by location and flight and time intervals. In addition to their call notes, I saw the white outer tail feathers--moreover the bird was light-colored with a markedly scaly back. Plus their call notes. Sasp and ampi eliminated. The recording is faint but sufficient.
