Observation details
Two large erect pale shorebirds with skinny necks and large heads Found by Daniel Curtain. Lousy photos taken through truck windshield. Stayed in truck. Didn’t want to spook the birds as they were close to the road. Others were on their way. Unfortunately a Merlín came in and spooked them. Birds headed East over the trees.
