Observation details
Silent, but working the pines just southwest of loop, here: 31°54'15.3"N 109°16'51.5"W Immediate reaction was "that's a small flycatcher." Talked myself into Western Flycatcher for a while, but then reverted back to Buff-breasted after reviewing photos. Tail narrow and short, faint buffy color to breast appears to not just be a photo artifact, head is rounded with no crest, bill is short, and eyering lacks the defined "teardrop" shape of Western, although it is heavier on the back of the eye I think.
