NOTES: Neotropical Institute Cut # 8. Bulk reel: 132 Time: 6:40 AM to 7:15 AM. One natural song phrase. Quality: 3. Level: 0. After playback, and what is apparently the same bird is now 150-200 distant [sic] from where first recorded. Quality: 2-3. Level: 0. 138 tape. Note: When singing, bird sits on fairly horizontal log or large branch, standing with its axis along branch rather than above it. Does not have tail cocked up. Looks like large NWT [Northern Watherthrush] (Seiurus). However, when walking along the branch it did have tail somewhat raised, approaching the form of Formicarius analis. Quality: 2 to 1. Level: 0. 138 tape.
