NOTES: Neotropical Institute Cut # 1. Bulk reel: 123 Natural song by male, then female, too. Thamnophilus murinus prominent in background. Quality: 1-2. Level: +10. Then after playback, male and female. Quality: 1. Level: +5. Then (alarm or bother calls?) by the female. Quality: 1-2. Level: +5. Pair collected (= male #6311, female #6310). Originally identified by the recordist as Hypocnemis cantator. Reidentified by Isler et al. as H. flavescens as part of their study on species limits in the H. cantator complex (see Isler et al. 2007).
