NOTES: LNS Note: Unbroken cut with internal recordist announcement gain change. Neotropical Institute Cut # 2. Bulk reel: 119 This is the male of Cut #1 and is his reaction to the playback of that cut. The song is obviously not quite normal in its composition and toward the end there are "bother notes" which may also correspond to alarm. In background is Catharus aurantiirostris. Note: 15/IX/67 - There seem to be definitely two birds in most of this. Therefore the female must have been present but I didn't see her. ML: Subject changed from Drymophila caudata to D. klagesi to reflect current taxonomy. --Jay McGowan 19Sep2013. Response to playback: Different song.
