Observation details
The female Yellow-bellied Sapsucker was around the general area of the bathrooms near campsite 85. It ranged though throughout that whole area. It was being very skittish and was hard to approach but I did manage a few poor photos. On last years Christmas Bird Count a female was found in this same area so it could possibly be the same bird returning. The white throat had no red in it that I could see and was small in extent compared to a Red-naped. It was bordered below by a rather large black breast patch, again unlike a Red-naped. I could not see any red on the nape and the back had wide off white lines.
