NOTES: Neotropical Institute Cut # 1. Bulk reel: 116 There are many sounds in this cut that I don't recognize, some of which may belong to this species but I suspect are of other Formicarids, etc. The only two sounds that seem probably to be of this species are a whistled Dee Deer and an ascending series of whistles. (May be a different species. Recheck after edit and check 1966 recordings and spec. 6/17/66 PAS.) ("Dee deer" now definitely identified as of Hylophilus ochraceiceps ([and filed as Cut 2 of that species]). 10/12/66 PAS.).
