NOTES: Songs, calls, chatter in response to playback of only two songs. Quite a bit of variation in "fee-bee" phrase. Background sound: distant children. [Most of this is the song of the species, including both types of Regularly Repeated Vocalizations (RRVs; see Smith, W. J. 1969. Displays of Sayornis phoebe (Aves, Tyrannidae). Behaviour 33:283-322), but the latter part of the recording contains numerous Chatter Vocalizations (CV). Of the 68 RRVs, only eight appear to represent RRV2s (0:55, 1:03, 1:055, 1:185, 1:44, 2:005, 2:59, 3:14). Chatter Vocalizations are prominent at 2:09-2:12, 3:07-3:17, 3:24-3:37, and 3:43-3:57. Vocalizations at 3:11, 3:22, 3:32, and 3:38 are intermediate between and an RRV and a CV, aan those at 2:035 and 2:33 appear to Represent Initially Peaked Vocalizations. Quality changed from 1-2 to 2, 1-2 (the first three songs are not as good as others, these probably natural, whereas othoers are said to be after playback) - CAM - 14 April 2005].
