Observation details
Went looking for a Greater White-fronted Goose and found a Lapwing instead! I stopped to look through a flock of Canada Geese and a flash of green from a nearby stubble field caught my eye. The Lapwing was immediately obvious so I grabbed my camera and got the best shots I could for the distance. The sun was a little high, but behind me. The Lapwing was loosely associating with some Killdeer. It flew to an area out of my sight before I left.
