Media notes
First, natural song. After, playback of a), bird closer; sings normal song. Another is heard in background. (Many other birds in background, especially Momotus momota; also Amazona farinosa.) Then continued after more playback, bird closer, therefore less background sound. First it sings two songs then starts to sing a bother song. After many such phrases it again reverts to normal song. This bird was then collected (= male #4692). Identified by Isler, Isler, and Whitney as T. atrinucha as part of their study on species limits in the T. punctatus complex (see Isler et al. 1997). ML: The "How Identified" and "Confidence in Identification" values pertain to the recordist's original identification.
