Media notes

Adult male RWBL, perched on a reed, making a whistle-call that Merlin recognized but was new to me. The bird also makes a few flight chip-calls at 19 seconds in the recording as it flew off. Traffic and rain somewhat muffled the recording, made at 7:30 am in steady rain.

Observation details

Male perched on a reed making an unfamiliar call, recorded (Merlin recognized it).
