In vicinity of hummingbird feeders, which they were using. Also: hummingbird wing sounds, fly, annc't at 0:30, 1 male chasing another; insects. [This represents mostly the typical "chuck" call of this species (BEST series is at 1:16-1:24), but there are also two songs (0:24, 2:26) and many soft, "huit" calls (0:12, 0:55, 1:40 (2?), 1:47 (2), 1:56, 2:24, 2:29, 2:34, 2:37, 3:11, 3:23, 3:30, 3:35, 3:37, 3:40, and 3:46. The clip at 3:23-3:47 has the BEST examples of this call. Unclear which calls were given by which sex (both males and females were apparently present). There are also a few calls by Carpodacus mexicanus scattered throughout. Quality added (2, 1-2 - some wind noise, especially at beginning) - CAM - 24 January 2005].
