Media notes

I began recording this for the robin-chat heard prominently at the beginning. It was only a few meters away, but with each iteration of the song it moves farther back into the trees. Its song is the characteristic crescendoing, almost whistle-like refrain that starts softly, builds very powerfully, then ends abruptly, lasting about 5 seconds at a time. Each repetition begins roughly at 2, 8, 14, 21, 29, 42, and 54 seconds in this recording, but the bird continued singing of course. A pied crow can also be heard at the very beginning.
