NOTES: Neotropical Institute Cut # 1. Bulk reel: 93a) 6:30 AM. The mournful calls are by this species. Also the chattery calls (except those obviously by Phacellodomus rufifrons) may well be of this species. Quality: 2- to 2+. Level: 0. 203 tape.b) 9:00 AM. Different kind of vocalization. Crotophaga ani is prominent in the first part. Quality: 2. Level: 0.The first section was natural, the other after playback. Bird reacted at first but did not maintain interest. Quality: 1-2.c) 9:30 AM. Natural vocalizations of still different kind. With playback, bird flew from river vegetation, where this last was recorded, to area where it had been earlier, apparently in reaction to the playback, but did not sing again and apparently "disappeared." 203 tape.
