NOTES: Neotropical Institute Cut # 4. Bulk reel: 78 Flight calls (or, calls in flight). The birds were foraging fairly high in air at this time. (See note on other side.) Quality: 3. Level: +5. 203 tape. Note: Throughout we heard some simple (one-figure) calls and some "trilled" calls, the latter are very probably (no doubt) of this species. The other I think may be of this species too, but somewhat resemble the calls of Lurocalis semitorquatus. About a minute before the end, just after a series of machine clicks recorded as a signal, there is a series of ~ six one-figure calls that seem even more like the Lurocalis and may very well be, for that species was seen in this general region.
