Observation details
*Rare in the fall, extremely rare in the spring. Breeding adult with orange plumes. First spotted sitting on some branches on the northeast corner of the pond pond, then proceeded to fly to the strip of grass directly north of that. I went around to see if I could get good photos and it didn't take my presence very well at all, flushing at 50ft. It simply flew across pond over to the strip of grass on the south side. I left it alone after that. Since it's here so late in the migration season I wouldn't be suprised if it oversummers here or wanders locally before moving south again in the fall
