NOTES: Neotropical Institute Cut # 6. Bulk reel: 72. Weather: Fair. "Bawl calls" by a sitting bird. Then a bird flew in giving "oorrooo"s. After it arrived both the other sounds stopped and we now hear a new "gurgly" sound (somewhat like song of Caprimulgus parvulus) that apparently was given by one of the potoos. This is a new sound to me and is of such low volume that if I hadn't had the reflector trained on the birds, I doubt much if I'd have heard it. I imagine one of these birds is the same as that of Cut 5. Quality: 2. Level: +5.
