NOTES: Neotropical Institute Cut # 15. Bulk reel: 65;A bird, no doubt the female, from the pitch, had been giving "screams" occasionally and I managed to record one of them. Quality: 1. Level: +5.I then played back this recorded scream and what was very likely this same bird then gave screams and song. Quality: 1. Level: 0.Then, after playback of this last part, bird came very close and gave more songs, screams, bill snaps, etc. Quality: 1. Level: 0.Then, after more playback, more song, and screams. Also a second bird, perhaps the male, sings in background. Quality: 1. Level: +5.This bird was then collected (= female #5227).After this I heard some different sounds coming from same place where the other bird had be[en] singing; these are low, fast repeated "hoots." Some saved for the record. Quality: 2. Level: +10. Sound stimulation was (other): playback own scream.
