The white stripe on the wing of a Zenaida asiatica is visible in the talons of this falcon in flight.
Observation details
A flyover of an individual that appears to be growing primary feathers symmetrically (finishing its annual molt). I'm guessing this is a one year old that is not yet ready to breed, hanging out on wintering grounds for the summer. This individual is carrying a Zenaida asiatica (White-winged Dove) in its talons.
