NOTES: "sounds from a very large flock of dunlins, nearly all the sound came from birds on or near the ground-almost no vocalizations from birds in flight; annc't 0-8sec, some redwing calls after 8:30" (WWHG) [Mostly "rumble/chatter" from a large flock of shorebirds, in which it is often difficult to differentiate the vocalizations of individual birds. Significantly better quality than LNS #59430. The part before 8:50 is slightly better than the part after this point (8:10-8:50 may be the best of all) I believe that the blackbirds are Euphagus cyanocephalus rather than Agelaius phoeniceus (unless both were present?) Quality changed from 1-2 to 1-2,2 - CAM - 8 December 2004]. Other Behaviors: Establish Flock Contact.
