NOTES: Neotropical Institute Cut # 2. Bulk reel: 38 Weather: Fair. Sounds from a pair of flying birds. Quality: 1. Level: 5. These birds not seen well enough for positive identification and could possibly be D. ater (the voice of which I don't have). However, the voice seems to correspond to the following cuts and in Cut #4 the birds were clearly seen and certainly identified. [Later note by recordist:] No! Are D. americanus [not D. ater as mentioned above]. 27 June 1965 PAS.
