NOTES: Neotropical Institute Cut # 28. Bulk reel: 29.6:00 AM. Natural dawn song. The bird had started with a few one-note calls. Quality: 2. Level: +10.This may be same bird as at beginning of cut 27. Another is heard in background also giving dawn song.6:55 AM. Then after playback, two birds have come in close and both give "dawn song." Quality: 1. Level: +5.Then after further playback. Quality: 1. Level: +5.Then one-note calls by both birds. Quality: 1-2. Level: +5.Then one bird was collected (= male #6306). I believe it corresponds to the last bird in focus and it's quite possible that bird is the same one mostly in focus throughout part after playback, but the birds moved around a good bit with the different playbacks so I can't be 100% sure. Response to playback: Approach.
