NOTES: Neotropical Institute Cut # 18. Bulk reel: 23 Weather: Fair. a) 11 July 1968. 1905 hours. Natural "four-note" song. Quality: 2. Level: +12. Then natural "dawn song" (= crepuscular song). Quality: 2. Level: +12. (Then shift into focus, as previous recording was accidental.) Quality: 1-2. Level: +12. b) 12 July 1968. 1900 hours. Natural "four-note" song, very likely by same bird, next evening. Note that starts with only a "two-note" call and most of later are "five-note" phrases. Quality: 1. Level: +5. Recording ends when bird stopped song; no "dawn song" this time. The next morning this bird (presumably) sang "four-note" song of four notes.
