NOTES: Neotropical Institute Cut # 4. Bulk reel: 16Altitude: Sea level."a") In this cut is also heard one rasping call of Busarellus (normal & typical). Quality: 2. Level: +2. 7.5 ips."b") Wind in trees heard in both a & b. Quality: 1-2. Level: +2. 15 ips."c") Kiskadees heard in background. Quality: 1-. Level: -5.I suspect these may be food cries of a young Busarellus nigricollis for there's one "dry rasp" that seems almost surely to be of that species and I vaguely remember seeing a "red" hawk once fly to the tree where this bird was calling PAS 8/10/63. This identification is probably correct but should not be considered 100% certain.Note: Parts "a" & "b" have been replaced with a copy on 139 tape at 7.5 ips, copied N-IV to N-4.2, filtered 100/7000 Hz.
