Media notes

NOTES: (Range Status: Normal, but only in "rain" years. Gen. Habitat: Bushed woodland. Cover Density: Open, medium.) Field annotations are included. Playback of the initial loud (2 birds) sequence which is the bubbling. All Cuckoos apparently have a second or bubbling call. This brought the female over me and after the long annotation--"two males one female etc." is response to playback. (They were chased by Rollers and Drongos) but the calling goes on long beyond that response period and no playback subsequently. Likely one male remained. Habitat: Forest, Deciduous Forest, Riparian, Scrub, Rocky.
