NOTES: (Cat. No. 58598 A & B. Gen. Climate: Arid, cyclic wet-dry. Cover Density: Sparse, medium.) Very young I. ind. being fostered by Lamprotornis chalybaeua. It was following, not closely, but the starlings did return to it with food items. I saw them feed it but not what they fed. There were many starlings feeding (selves) in the area on fruit, but many insects were also available. This juv. must have emerged from its nest with[in] the last 2-3 days. It did call on wing. It followed the parents but not as does a young starling. Other Behaviors: Beg. Habitat: Forest, Evergreen Forest, Deciduous Forest, Riparian, Pasture, Thicket/Brush, Scrub.
