Pond goose associating closely with a pair of Canada geese with chicks, who seemed to accept it without alarm. Is this some sort of European nanny? Note that there is a hybrid goose on this lake which may be an offspring of this Canadaphile goose from an earlier trist. Photos. [P] I was notified by eBird Dec 2018 that this is a Graylag x Swan goose hybrid.
