Observation details
at about 7 AM this bird flew up from shrubs behind house and landed in tree on forest edge; have not heard these birds calling here this year but this sighting may confirm an earlier probable sighting of two - probably courting pair - on May 11 and probably explains an odd call heard last evening; after leaving this perch it flew to another one nearby, then to a third one, both on the edge of a strip of meadow where they hunted regularly when they nested here in the past
