Observation details
Very tough lighting, distance made this a fun call. There have been quite a few reports of several Ross's in vicinity, so probably continuing bird. We have seen a group of 5 geese (2 Ross, 3 snows) here rather recently and we thought these may have been members of those, but...only one appears to be a Ross's Goose this time, so perhaps not. See photo: of 3 in photo, one on the right seems to be Ross's Goose. In real time: goose looked stumpy, had pink bill with no black patch. This did not come out in photo. However, after examining several photos, think black area on bottom of bill/face is actually shadow on this individual, probably real on the other 2 next to it. If it turns out to be incorrect, will change ID.
