Observation details
Continuing from this morning when discovered with a huge new influx of Semipalms at dawn by Tripper. At least two, and I thought three, dotted amongst the ever-moving flocks of Semis. One seen in flight showing namesake rump, but I didn't manage a photo. Similar in plumage to Semi-palmated but easily distinguished by larger size, long-winged/tailed silhouette, and comparatively towering height. In groups with semis the bulk and particularly height of the WR is notable.
