Observation details
Continuing from last night (Thanks Jeremy Busby!).. distant birds foraging on the east side of unit 15, close to where the shore bends, relocated by Grant Beauprez, who was still there when we arrived. Ducks were a unique color-tan and peach combined on head, neck, and belly. Long necks (mostly down), occasionally crested appearance. Black wings seen briefly. I’m sure they were there earlier, but we just missed them due to distance, closeness to shore and feeding habits
