Ash-throated Flycatcher
Observation details
Somewhat large flycatcher with gray on breast, yellow on belly extending down to undertail coverts, and a long rufous tail. Ka-brick call heard. Size eliminates empids and pewees. Length and color of of tail eliminate other tyrant flycatchers. Wings too short and tail too long for Western Wood-pewee. Tail slightly longer than Western Kingbird and more rufous with no white outer feathers. North of usual range. Will be added to Idaho's latilong map with next update.
