Observation details
Similar to Willow Flycatcher, which is pretty common around here in breeding season. The Alder is quite uncommon in this area and has a distinctively different song - a harsh, upward rising reee-BEE or reee-BEE-a. Seems to have set up territory in same place as last spring - wet, brushy habitat with some open areas and small to medium trees.
