Observation details
Only the second record here of White-throated Gerygone. First record by David Mitford. Bird seen very briefly behind the first tee in association with Gray Fantail and Red-browed Firetail. Bird was flitting by itself towards the top of a large eucalypt tree. First observed the extensive white undertail feather, overall yellow bird, with a pale/flesh colored bill, that was rather large. Photo study shows those features plus the white undertail coverts. Bill size and color, overall shape and size seem to clinch ID as immature White-throated Gerygone.
