NOTES: BNA: Type IV: "Ti-ti-ti-ti" (Breeding status: breeding; Sp. sound: freq; Behav. Context: ?care of young; Vis. Display: fledgling wing fluttering; Gen. Climate: arid; cover den: sparse) [This represents the "Ti-Ti-Ti-Ti" call of BNA, or the Type IV vocalization of Atwood (1988. Ornithological Monograph 42), alternating with the Scold or Type I vocalization. The sharp "ti" notes in the foreground are clearly from this species, but I suspect that the thinner "tsit" calls in the background (especially after 0:48) are not. Quality added (1, 1-2) - CAM - 21 December 2004]. Other Behaviors: Beg. Habitat: Desert, Scrub.

Background Species

Gambel's Quail - Callipepla gambelii
White-winged Dove - Zenaida asiatica
