NOTES: (Sp. sound: freq; Breeding Stat: territorial; Special Song: ?dawn; Gen Climate: arid; Cover Den: sparse) (ML Notes: Call notes can be heard at 8 sec, 20 sec, 28 sec, 31sec, 34-36 sec, 45-48 sec, and 59 sec.) [Fourteen songs that alternate between two different endings. The complexity of these songs and the short intervals between them suggest that they represent an undescribed Type II (or "dawn") song of this species (see also LNS #20822, 56870, 56871). Also included are soft call notes, but these seem more like "flight" calls than the typical, "bink" contact call (0:13, 0:245, 0:325, 0:36, 0:395, 0:41, 0:505, and 1:04). Quality added (1-2) - CAM - 15 June 2005]. Habitat: Desert, Scrub.
