Observation details
Initially seen on the clothes line holding a huge stick insect (likely Titan Stick Insect - Acrophylla titan). Stayed there for ages making some attempts to swallow it. then flew into the adjacent bush. Photographed in both locations. It stayed on the clothes line for a long time even while he dog and I walked close by (and the flood light was on). It was a pretty cool thing to see.
