Most of the sound coming from the dominant bull who is shadowing a female + being aggressive towards other males, one in particular. Also: (a) at first, clicks from cooling car engine (b) distant traffic on Hwy 16 West of road, in long grass + poplar bush 5.23-6.02 microphone movement 6.02-6.51 calf breathing, low grunt 6.51-6.59 female comes to rescue calf accompanied by male. Both bluff charges. + then leave with calf. into tall grass 10.20- distant coyotes 19 cms Q 2, 1-2. Number of individuals=UU8-10;. Social Context: Herd.
