Observation details
Re-found the elusive Central Park Wild Turkey, which was photographed at the Loch yesterday evening and reported at Turtle Pond earlier this afternoon, both on eBird. I found it just east of the Maintenance shed. It flew into the tall oak immediately southeast of the shed after being chased by an inconsiderate viewer. Before this bird, the last reliable observation of Wild Turkey in Central Park was in January 2009.
