Observation details
***MEGA | first state record found this morning by local birder Jeff Cherry; Louis Bevier relocated the bird around 1:30pm on a lawn with AMROs viewed from the roadside at the Sheepscott Community Church (Hill Church) on Sheepscot Road looking east at the field beyond the pond (the bird was ~300 meters away -- GPS: 44.047099, -69.603353); similar to AMROs in size and structure, but at a distance appeared darker; white crescent patch at base of wing was the most obvious field mark; sides of chest appeared dark; gray head and rump; yellow/orange bill; during our observation (which began ~1:37pm), the bird flushed with AMROs repeatedly to the southern edge of lawn and out of view, before returning to the open lawn; ~2:24pm they flushed and did not return before we left at about 3pm
