Observation details

*MEGA* probably second Kings County record-first seen while doing a skywatch atop BJ's W holesale Club's parking garage-bird flew by from NE to SW-only glassed it long enough to see extremely long tail-by the time I retrieved my camera it had already disappeared from view-based on the direction it had been headed I quickly drove to Drier-Offermann Park and relocated the bird on the fence of the NE most ballfield-spent the next 45 minutes or so observing as it sallied forth every minute or 2 catching insects on the fly-overall pale silvery gray head and body-lighter underneath-wings darker grey-brown with white edging on coverts and tertials-long black and white forked tail-inner tail black-outer streamers white with black ovals at tip-red shoulder mark-salmon colored flanks and blood red axillaries
