Black legs, entirely black and slight downcurverd bill, long wings with tips that project behind the tail, warm brown upperparts, streaked breast, slightly smaller than Semipalmated Plover (both species were seen close together).
Observation details
At the edge of a pool with other sandpipers and plovers. Bigger than peeps, but smaller than Pectoral Sandpiper. Warm brown, scaled upperparts, not gray, with long wings whose tips projected behind the tail. Black legs and a black, medium-sized, slightly downcurved bill.
