Both adult Pileated Woodpeckers start the cut calling to one another. One of the parents then feeds one of the young on the far side of the tree. Then the juvenile comes around tree into focus and is being fed by the adult. The rapid series of low-pitched calls are the young being fed. Other Behaviors: Beg.
