Observation details
Photos & video. Pleasant surprise. Personal FOY. Flagged "rare" by eBird app, so I'm providing proof. I've found & photographed Greater Yellowlegs here in Yakima county during winter several times, and once chased/relocated two found at the Granger Brickyard overlook of the Yakima River. I don't know how, or if it's indeed possible, to add images using eBird app on phone. Workaround: I uploaded one photo on site using web browser on phone -- a bit clunky. At home I uploaded two more photos I took today. My photos have embedded GPS location/date/time. A first for me: a Belted Kingfisher chased them in flight. The kingfisher gave up. The three yellowlegs went back to foraging. I did not get any photos of the aerial chase.
