Observation details
I heard a strange call, similar in character to Eurasian Collared-Dove (EUCD). I tried to record it using Merlin app on phone, but sound of leaf blower across the street and traffic drowned out recording. I went around house and looked at collared doves on utility lines. Fourth bird facing me (showing undertail details) that I looked at had white outer webs to outer retrices. It was slightly smaller than the EUCDs. I ran in house, got my camera, came out, but bird was now facing away. I pre-focused camera and waited, resting elbows on fence. I captured a couple of photos as it landed after flight of a few feet to utility pole, and another as it walked around behind pole on wood cross members. Perhaps this is the same individual I saw and reported on January 1st. [https://ebird.org/ebird/pnw/edit/checklist?subID=S125400999] That report was not "confirmed" by eBird until 2023-01-23. I welcome identification help.
